Note Archive

Manage all notes stored in your browser.
Export your notes as a backup or import from a previous export.

Heads up: Clearing browser data removes this local archive from your device. Notes remain accessible if you saved their full links elsewhere, including the password after the # symbol.

How the archive works

Your archive is built from the note records saved in this browser's local storage. Those records include the note ID, password, delete key, and local metadata needed to reopen or manage notes later.

Note content is not downloaded into the archive. The content remains on the SecureNote server only as encrypted data, and your browser uses the saved password to decrypt it when you open the note.

Keeping this information local helps SecureNote avoid account tracking: the server stores encrypted notes, but it does not know which browser created which archive or which notes belong together.
